A. Diamond Penetrators
Used for testing hardened steels. Available in all scales.
B. Steel Ball Penetrators
For testing unhardened steels. Available in sizes of 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" diameter.
C. Penetrator Extensions
Used to check deep internal surfaces. Available in 1", 2", 3", 4", 5" and 6".
D. Flat Anvils
Used for supporting small and large pieces during testing. Available in sizes of 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3" and 8".
E. V Anvils
For supporting cylindrical pieces during testing. Available in 1/2", 1 1/2", and 3 1/2".
F. Spot Anvils
For testing against small or confined areas. Available in sizes of 1/4" and 1/2".
G. Eyeball Anvil
Used for testing tapered parts. When testing angular surfaces or parts, the flat can be rotated to allow alignment of the penetrator for contact with a flat surface.
H. Diamond Spot Anvil
For supporting thin, soft sheet metal. It has a flat polished diamond at the center. This anvil standardizes the friction effect between the anvil and the thin sheet metal as the sample deforms under the test load.
I. Roller Anvil
For supporting cylindrical work, this anvil has a capacity of 2" to 10" in diameter. The twin cylinders are each 2" long and 7/8" in diameter and are set 1 1/2" center to center.
J. Gooseneck Anvils
Used for testing the outside diameter of thin wall tubing. Available with 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" diameter mandrels.
K. Gooseneck Adapter
Used to perform internal tests on rings, tubes or annular parts where the minimum inside diameter is 7/16".
L. Extension Rest
Used for supporting long pieces. This support is clamped to the top of the elevating screw. It adjust to bring the piece being tested in proper alignment with the anvil and the penetrator.
M. Test Block Calibration Set
Provides complete control in the accuracy of the tester being checked and also the accuracy and condition of the penetrators.
